1 quart of pure water Place water and Pau D Arco bark in a pot, bring to a boil, reduce heat slightly and let it simmer at a very gently rolling boil for 20 minutes. Drink 1 cup of this tea (hot or cold) anywhere from two to eight times a day. You can also use this decoction, once it has cooled to room temperature, as a topical treatment for fungal skin infections (soak a cloth in the liquid and apply as a compress to the infected areas).
