Free Printable Food Journal

If you want a Free Printable Food Journal, I've looked at a bunch of them online and picked my favorite. Or a Free Online Food Diary? I'll show you the one I think is best.

It can be very helpful, especially when you are just beginning the dietary changes, to keep a food journal.

And why not take advantage of a free printable food journal? It's all mapped out for you, all you have to do is fill in the blanks!

When you get in the habit of writing down what you eat and drink each day, it can be quite enlightening!

I like this one for its simplicity. And it has columns where you can record your

- mood
- what you were doing
- where you were
- if you were alone or with others

when you chose to eat or drink something.

Brilliant!

It's a great way to get a handle on emotional eating, or stress munching, or mindless nibbling, or over-indulgent partying, or whatever may be the less-than-healthy habit du jour...

If you want to use your computer to keep a food journal, then a Free Online Food Diary is your best bet.

It's a free online food diary that lets you input everything you eat, and calculates calories, protein, fats, carbohydrates and more.

It has an extensive list of foods in its database, and there is the option for you to add customized foods as well.

If you work often on the computer, this is a nice option, since you can keep it open all day and add items as you eat throughout the day. It takes a little practice, but once you learn the system, using an online food diary is quite convenient!

I used this program for a couple of weeks to get an idea of how much fat, protein and carbohydrates I was eating in a day. Once I learned the basics of what my diet provides for me, I didn't need to continue using the online food diary, but it was very helpful at the time!



Use a free printable food journal or an online food diary to help you in your journey toward better health.

As in my case, usually its not something we need to use for an extended period of time. Just a week or two may be enough to learn all you need to know.
