Apple Cider Vinegar Drink Recipes

Note: Not everyone does well with vinegars and acidic drinks like this. You may need to do a little testing with small doses at first to see how your body reacts. If you are struggling with Candida, the first recipe for Sweet Tart Cider Sipper can be very helpful.

Braggs (the "health pioneer" apple cider vinegar company) also makes pre-bottled apple cider vinegar drinks.  They're tasty, but some have a trace amount of sugars from fruit juice or honey in them so read the labels and decide for yourself if they work for you.

My favorite apple cider vinegar drink:

Sweet Tart Cider Sipper (good digestive tonic, best ACV drink recipe for candida symptoms because it has no sugars)

This is a great little drink to help aid digestion, and it's completely sugar free since we use stevia.

I love the sweet-tart flavor!

Try sipping one about 10 minutes before you have a meal.

1/4 cup pure, clean water
1/4 cup brewed stevia leaf tea
1-2 teaspoons raw apple cider vinegar


1/2 cup pure, clean water
3-4 drops liquid stevia extract
1-2 teaspoons raw apple cider vinegar

Mix everything together, pour into a glass and enjoy at room temperature, sipping slowly.

Makes 1 serving.


Apple Cider Vinegar & Honey Drink (a classic old fashioned health tonic, people have used this combination for years to bolster immunity against seasonal allergies, aid digestion, ward off arthritis, there are a lot of claims as to the benefits of this one)

Again, if you are dealing with Candida, thrush or any yeast issues honey is not the best choice as it's loaded with natural sugars.

1/4 cup pure water
1 tablespoon raw honey (-/+ to taste), from your local area to help with seasonal allergies
2 teaspoons raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar

Stir it all together and sip slowly, 10 minutes before a meal.

Makes 1 serving


Apple Cider Vinegar Molasses Cocktail (rich in Potassium and B Vitamins)

Lay off the molasses if you're currently following the Diet Guidelines as molasses is high in natural sugars.

3/4 cup pure, clean water
2 teaspoons raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon molasses

Stir it all together and sip slowly. I know a few friends who love this beverage as a pre-breakfast treat. It's actually delicious!
